About Your Job

Reporting to the Load Control Manager Delhi, you will be responsible to effectively and efficiently deploy of a licensed load controller to meet the requirement of weight & balance functions; preparation of documents and GD and the maintenance of flight files for all QAS Airline Customers, thereby maintaining and delivering the targets set in the SLA between QAS and QAS Airline Customers. Ensure load control staff are either preparing or coordinating in safe and timely preparation of load sheet of all aircrafts according to the guidelines provided. Also, monitor, coach and guide all reporting staff in ensuring excellent service delivery and ensuring staff are aware of all SOP’s.

You will update and discuss all operational issues pertaining to Load Control with the Load Control Officer at Doha on duty to ensure smooth and effective operation. Report any incident (s) and/or accident (s) involving QAS resources.

You will also be responsible maintaining the highest standards relating to Health and Safety and perform safety and security spot checks on manpower, equipment and facilities which are utilized by Qatar Aviation Services for daily operations. React promptly and efficiently, to power /DCS/ SITA CUTE disruptions ensuring continuous safe and timely service delivery. Submit a preliminary investigation report for each incident/accident/service lapse pertaining to the shift

About You

To be eligible for this role you should have minimum 4 years’ experience pertaining to Ground Services functionalities of which last 3 years should be at Supervisory level and experience working in an Airline/Ground Handling company in relation to Baggage/Ramp operations within Airport Operations. You are required to have the ability to manipulate situations with available resources and experience liaising with internal and external customers in order to ensure proper resources and facilities available to meet the operational needs.

You should be educated to Bachelor’s Degree, professionally equipped with safety and Security practices as stipulated by (ICAO/IATA) and have extensive overall knowledge of all areas of Airline / Airport Operations. Should have the ability to handle emergency situations whether Air or Land Side and possess proficiency in Ramp Handling Procedures with practical knowledge of Airport communications system / DCS.
