JUNIOR TECHNICIAN – Job Code (Jr.Tech)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   Should have good knowledge of Maintenance of GSE.
  •   Able to work in the maintenance of GSE’s independently.
  •   Should be able to complete the allotted job in given time frame with high workmanship &

    quality.

  •   Should always keep safe aspect in consideration while doing repair works on GSE’s.
  •   Responsible for the equipment for their serviceability.
  •   Should have a valid driving license (LMV Commercial).
  •   Perform any other functions as required by the Sr. Manager – Maintenance.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 Diploma / ITI in relevant grade or minimum 2years of experience in Maintenance of GSE’s at Airports

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

 Minimum 1 year of Technician Experience in any Maintenance / Workshop.

  • EQUIPMENT OPERATOR – Job Code (EO) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •   Follow airside driving rules and procedures without fail.
    •   Before positioning equipment on aircraft/ opening aircraft service panels/ cargo doors and after servicing the aircraft, check for any visible damage and report the same to Ramp supervisor and aircraft engineer immediately.
    •   Operate equipment as per company/ airline procedure.
    •   Report any incident or damage immediately as per company procedure.
    •   Ensure that valid ADP and driving license is always with him/ her during duty in airside and to ensure that renewal of same is done in a timely manner.
    •   Do necessary safety checks before taking equipment for operation. Check locks of GSE to ensure that load is secured during transportation.
    •   Report any damage to aircraft immediately (before pushback of flight) to Ramp Supervisor and flight engineer.
    •   Assist and extend full cooperation to ramp supervisor to ensure safe and on time flight departure.
    •   Maintain the allocated equipment in neat and clean presentable condition.
    •   To assist and contribute to ensuring proper housekeeping in Ramp.

      EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    •   Sr. Secondary/ Pre University or its equivalent.
    •   Heavy Driving license (HTV/ HPV) – Candidate should possess current/ valid driving

      license (not less than 3 years old from the date of issue) by regional transport authority.

      RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    •   Minimum 02 years’ experience in Airport Operations.
    •   Any experience in Ramp operation would be an advantage

      BAGGAGE/RAMP/CLEANING ASSISTANT – JOB CODE (BA/RA/CA)

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – BA/RA/CA

      1. BAGGAGE ASSISTANT (BA)

      •   Baggage Assistant, –Baggage Operations, is primarily responsible for loading and offloading of bags while ensuring that SOPs and other guidelines issued by AISATS are followed.
      •   Baggage Assistant, – Baggage Operations is to work closely as a team with the loading staff to complete the task.
      •   Should be able to read the tags of the baggage and should be able to identify the bags based on Destination.
      •   Should load and unload the bags carefully so as not to cause any damage.
      •   Carry our baggage condition checks before loading or unloading of baggage. Any

        bag received in damaged/Open condition, should be informed to BSA of the team.

      •   Look out for any Dangerous Good sticker on baggage/item and escalate to superior

      2. RAMP ASSISTANT (RA)

      •   Perform all aircraft cleaning and loading/unloading activities required for safe and smooth flight handling.
      •   Follow the loading instructions from the Ramp supervisor on each flight for safety, FOD checks and on special handlings.
      •   Handle the loads smoothly and safely while unloading/loading.
      •   Offload/Load baggage or cargo only after confirming for the respective flights’

        baggage tags or Cargo label.

      •   Do not load bags or cargo beyond height limit line in the holds.
      •   Ensure divider nets erected after each net section loading completed.
      •   Perform connection/disconnection of aircraft toilet coupling
      •   Perform cabin cleaning, deep cleaning and aircraft cleaning tasks
      •   Perform tow bar duty…Assist in connection/disconnection of tow bar
      •   Perform housekeeping duties (Office)
      •   Should assist the Technician in Maintenance activity

      3. CLEANING ASSISTANT (CA)

      •   Perform all aircraft cleaning tasks (cleaning of carpet, galley, seats, aircraft toilets, compartments, aircraft holds, vacuum duty etc…) during aircraft transit, enhanced transit, deep cleaning and exterior cleaning under the supervision of Lead assistant/ CCA (supervisor).
      •   Perform cabin cleaning, deep cleaning, and aircraft cleaning tasks.
      •   Perform aircraft loading/unloading tasks
      •   Perform connection/disconnection of aircraft toilet coupling
      •   Perform housekeeping tasks( Office and GSE cleaning)

        AIRCRAFT TURNAROUND CO-ORDINATOR – Job Code (TAC)

        KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

        •   Aircraft Turnaround Coordinator (TAC) is responsible to plan, organize, supervise and control the turnaround activities for customer airlines in order to achieve a safe, secure on-time departure.
        •   The TAC is responsible to ensure that all participating stakeholders of the turnaround process adhere to the Precision Timing schedule (PTS) and guidelines published by the customer airline.
        •   The TAC shall monitor the turnaround functions so that they meet the service level agreement, as well as resolve issues and/or concerns that may impact the turnaround of the aircraft.
        •   Proactively motivates and supervises the complete turnaround, seeking out potential problems prior to any impact or disruption of the PTS.
        •   Accountable for the punctuality of all assigned flights to ensure an acceptable level of on-time departures are achieved.
        •   Allocates delays as appropriate in coordination with the customer airline.
        •   Stops any turnaround activities being carried out in non-compliances with safety,

          security and operations procedures and processes.

        •   Must work to a varied set of engagement stands. Different timings for different aircraft types or different airlines.
        •   Ability to put to best use the various communication tools e.g. Radio, telephones, mobile, computer, telex TAC…
        •   Coordinates/supervision all the emergency activities and procedures in liaising with the Airport authorities in case a full emergency aircraft incident occurred.
        •   Ensures that aircraft loaded safety with baggage/cargo and mail in accordance with LIF and incorrect loading positions
        •   Responsible for taking note of passenger book Load, Cargo Book load, transit passengers and passengers with special needs from the system and ensure appropriate action.
        •   Responsible for reconciling the passenger list with actual people on Board.
        •   Responsible for notifying load control if any additional weight and handing over

          provisional load sheet to captain.

          EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

        •   Bachelor Degree or Equivalent (any stream) from any reputed university.
        •   Certification in the ramp, baggage, passenger, handling will be an added advantage.

          RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

        •   6-24 months of experience in an airport operations environment with exposure to the various operational furcation at a major international airport, preferably with a ground handling company or airline.
        •   Must have passed the IATA Dangerous Good CAT 9 and/or 10 certifications or be able to demonstrate the equivalent Of external training
        •   Knowledge of Check – In, and / Or Airline DCS and / Or Baggage Operation, and/ or Load control, and/or Ramp Handling will be preferred;

          •   Perform any additional task/duty or to use/operate any other GSE / vehicle which may be allocated to him/her for flight handling after completion of appropriate training.

            EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

          •   Matriculation or equivalent
          •   Light Commercial Driving License– Candidate should possess current/valid driving

            license (not less than 3 years old from the date of issue) by regional transport

            authority/ competent authority as per Airport operator’s requirement.

          •   Heavy Driving license (HTV) will be given preference.

            RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

            •   Minimum 06 months experience in Airport operations.

            KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

            •   Floor walking – distribute baggage tags and immigration form to the passenger, greet and guide the passenger.
            •   Document check – travel documents (passport, certificate of identity, emergency certificate, merchant seamen book), endorsements, visas, health certificate, Airport tax, customs.
            •   Check the flight details (registration) assign the flight and block the seats for infant, wheelchair and for group passenger.
            •   Special Handling – assisting infants, wheelchair passenger, physically challenged.
            •   Check-in Counter – Travel documents (passport, certificate of identity, emergency certificate, and merchant seamen book), endorsements, visas, health certificate, Airport tax, and customs.
            •   Tagging the baggage to the final destination.
            •   Check-in the correct passenger.
            •   Handover boarding pass and baggage acknowledgment to the passenger.
            •   Adhere to correct procedure of acceptance and handling of registered baggage.
